A pro­duct of Sil­i­con Val­ley and Wall Street, Nick spe­cial­izes in using strate­gic think­ing, behav­ioral eco­nom­ics, sim­u­la­tions and sce­nar­ios to ensure that senior deci­sion-mak­ers and their orga­ni­za­tions devel­op robust, future-proofed strate­gies and options.

Pre­vi­ous­ly, Nick served as a Man­ag­ing Direc­tor at both Mor­gan Stan­ley and Nomu­ra and as Co-Pres­i­dent of Glob­al Busi­ness Net­work (GBN) / Senior Part­ner of Michael Porter’s Mon­i­tor Group. The ini­tial part of Nick’s career was spent in the high-tech­nol­o­gy indus­try, hav­ing held mar­ket­ing and busi­ness devel­op­ment roles at the Xerox Cor­po­ra­tion and help­ing launch Palo Alto start-up, Visioneer.

Notable con­sult­ing assign­ments have includ­ed devel­op­ing future growth strate­gies with­in invest­ment /wholesale bank­ing, asset man­age­ment, ener­gy, tech­nol­o­gy, telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions and min­ing. Nick has also helped cor­po­rate clients to bet­ter under­stand and man­age key strate­gic risks and advised gov­ern­ments / pub­lic sec­tor orga­ni­za­tions on indus­tri­al and eco­nom­ic pol­i­cy devel­op­ment. Recent clients have includ­ed Bar­clays, Bank of Amer­i­ca, Black­rock, BP, Cit­i­group, Cred­it Agri­co­la, Coutts, RBS and Thom­son Reuters.

In addi­tion to his advi­so­ry work, Nick has shared his expe­ri­ence and exper­tise in a vari­ety of set­tings, both through cus­tomized exec­u­tive devel­op­ment pro­grams in strate­gic think­ing, sce­nar­io devel­op­ment and mega-trends analy­sis, and as a guest lec­tur­er at lead­ing busi­ness schools, includ­ing Lon­don Busi­ness School (LBS) and INSEAD.

Nick is a board mem­ber of the May­or of London’s Enter­prise Pan­el, help­ing to devel­op an inte­grat­ed eco­nom­ic growth strat­e­gy for the city. Nick holds a BSc (Hons) in Man­age­ment Sci­ence from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Wales.
